Monocot vs Diecot experiment
In this experiment we put a mint bean and a corn bean and put them in a cup with towels to see how they were similar and different.
Why did we do this experiment?
We did this experiment because we wanted to see if the corn and the mung bean were monocots or diecots.
Predictions: So my predictions were that the corn was a monocot and the bean was a diecot.
Observations: So through the growth of the bean and the corn I noticed that the bean grew much faster than the corn at first and then they steadily grew around the same together pointing towards the sun.
Findings: So I found that my predictions were right and the corn was a monocot and the mung bean was a diecot since the mung bean had two different stems and the corn only had one large one.
Conundrums: So my plants ended up thriving with water every other day and being next to the window. They are still growing and haven’t even begun to die yet.

Whats the point of this?
To understand photosynthesis and see how they do it.
What did you get out of this?
I was able to understand how photosynthesis worked and how to organize my information.
